I read an explanation of the nihilistic philosophy and I think I understand it better. So, I still don't think art can be nihilistic. How would a nihilist know if their art is nihilistic, since they can't know anything for sure? They believe they can only act, but can't know what the out come of those actions will be. So, they can't know their art will turn out nihilistic.
Being nihilistic is being like a child, who doesn't know what will happen. They believe they can't know what the outcome will be. And the just because something has been learned doesn't mean it is true. The only thing you can control is your own thoughts.

Do bands wonder if some radio station is playing one of their songs?
Earlier today I was in my car driving and an older song (from about 5 years ago) came on. It was by my favorite artist. My favorite artist lives in Finland. It was about 2:00 p.m. cst, so in Finland it would have been about 20:00 (10 p.m.).
I just started thinking "do you think my favorite singer is chilling in his living room wondering if any radio station any where in the world are playing his music?" Or if any one any where is listening to his cds.
Do you think musical artist every wonder if someone is listen to their music right now? I was just wondering.
